Unlike a standard notepad, an exam pad has a stiff card backing board — allowing students to write while holding the pad without a desk surface — and perforated sheets that tear off cleanly for collection by invigilators. - What makes an exam pad different from a draft pad?
- An exam pad has a stiff card backing board (allowing writing while holding the pad) and perforated sheets for clean tear-off. A draft pad has no backing and is not designed for answer collection. Exam pads are also made from slightly heavier 60 GSM paper.
- What is the card backing board for?
- The card backing gives the student a firm writing surface even when seated in an exam hall without individual desks. It also keeps the pad rigid and prevents the sheets from wrinkling during writing.
- How many sheets does an exam pad have?
- Each Hero Notes exam pad contains 40 sheets (40 answer pages). Pads are packed 100 per carton.
- How do schools calculate how many exam pads to order?
- A rough formula: number of students × exam sessions per year × pads per session. For a 500-student school with 4 exam sessions using 1 pad per student per session: 500 × 4 = 2,000 pads per year.
- Are exam pads available in sizes other than A4?
- Currently Hero Notes manufactures exam pads in A4 size only. A4 is the standard examination answer pad size used in Pakistani schools and boards.
